With its thick, heavily textured foliage and striking silver-green leaves etched with deep emerald veins, the Alocasia Dragon Scale is one of the most recognizable collector favorites in the hobby. Its dramatic, almost reptilian appearance gives this compact plant an unmistakable presence, making it a stunning addition to any indoor jungle. Whether you're just beginning your collector journey or expanding an established collection, the Dragon Scale is a timeless favorite that never goes out of style.
✦Why You'll Love It
- •The Dragon Scale is celebrated for its incredibly textured foliage that resembles dragon scales, giving it an exotic, sculptural appearance unlike almost any other houseplant. Its manageable size makes it perfect for shelves, cabinets, or tabletops while still providing a bold statement piece.
- •Collector Rarity: Uncommon Collector
Please Note: This listing is for a 4-inch Alocasia Dragon Scale. Each plant is naturally unique, so leaf size, venation, coloration, and overall fullness will vary from plant to plant. Minor cosmetic blemishes are normal with Alocasias and do not affect the overall health of the plant. While we carefully package every order to ensure safe arrival, The Luxe Leaf Co. is not responsible for cosmetic damage, minor imperfections, or environmental stress that may occur during shipping or after delivery. Please review our shipping policies before placing your order.
✦Care Summary
- •Light: Bright, indirect light. Avoid harsh afternoon sun, which can scorch the foliage.
- •Water: Water once the top 1–2 inches of soil begin to dry. Keep evenly moist, but never allow the soil to remain soggy.
- •Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity (60% or higher) for optimal growth and larger foliage.
- •Soil: A chunky, well-draining aroid mix is essential to promote healthy roots and prevent excess moisture retention.
- •Pet Safety: Not pet safe. Toxic if ingested by cats, dogs, and other pets.
- •Bring home one of the hobby's most iconic foliage plants and enjoy watching each new leaf become even more impressive than the last. Thank you for supporting The Luxe Leaf Co.! 🐉🌿💚
