The Alocasia Gageana ‘Aurea’ is a breathtaking collector Alocasia prized for its bold golden-yellow variegation splashed, marbled, and sectorally displayed across lush green foliage. This mature 10-inch specimen offers an impressive tropical presence, with large established leaves and completely unique variegation from leaf to leaf.
Collector Rarity: Rare Collector
✦Why You'll Love It
- •The Alocasia Gageana ‘Aurea’ is loved for its unpredictable golden variegation and impressive mature foliage. Its larger established size creates an instant statement, while every new leaf brings the excitement of a completely new aurea pattern.
Please Note: This listing is for a mature Alocasia Gageana ‘Aurea’ in a 10-inch pot. Variegation, golden coloration, leaf size, pattern, and fullness will naturally vary. Due to its mature size and delicate foliage, minor bending, tearing, yellowing, or cosmetic stress may occur during shipping and acclimation. By purchasing, you acknowledge these natural variations and shipping limitations and agree to The Luxe Leaf Co.’s shipping and Live Arrival Guarantee policies.
✦Care Summary
- •Light: Bright, indirect light is best for supporting healthy growth and maintaining its beautiful aurea variegation. Avoid harsh direct sunlight.
- •Water: Allow the top 1–2 inches of soil to dry slightly between waterings. Avoid keeping the roots consistently wet.
- •Humidity: Thrives in moderate to high humidity (60%+) with good airflow.
- •Soil: Prefers a chunky, well-draining aroid mix that retains some moisture while providing plenty of airflow around the roots.
- •Pet Safety: Toxic if ingested. Keep away from pets and children.
- •A spectacular mature collector Alocasia with dramatic golden variegation, impressive foliage, and undeniable statement-plant presence. 🌿💛✨
