The Flamingo Queen Angel Wing Begonia is a stunning cane-type Begonia prized for its elegant, wing-shaped foliage splashed with beautiful silver markings and accented by soft pink to rosy tones. Its upright, branching growth creates a lush tropical display, while its uniquely patterned leaves provide plenty of color and character even when the plant isn’t blooming. As it matures, this beauty can develop into an impressive statement plant with tall canes and cascading clusters of flowers.
✦Why You’ll Love It
- •Flamingo Queen combines the dramatic foliage of an Angel Wing Begonia with beautiful coloration and an elegant upright growth habit. Unlike compact Rex Begonias, this cane-type variety can grow taller and fuller over time, making it especially rewarding for anyone looking for a Begonia that can become a true statement specimen.
- •Collector Rarity: Uncommon Collector
Please Note: This listing is for a 4-inch Flamingo Queen Angel Wing Begonia. Each plant is naturally unique and may vary in leaf pattern, coloration, size, cane development, and overall fullness. Young plants may not yet display the size, branching, or flowering habit of mature specimens. Begonia foliage can be delicate, and minor edge damage or small cosmetic imperfections may naturally occur. While we carefully package every order to ensure safe arrival, The Luxe Leaf Co. is not responsible for cosmetic damage, minor imperfections, damaged or broken leaves/stems, or environmental stress that may occur during shipping or after delivery. Please review our shipping policies before placing your order.
✦Care Summary
- •Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal for maintaining vibrant foliage and encouraging healthy growth and flowering. Avoid harsh direct afternoon sunlight.
- •Water: Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil begin to dry. Keep lightly moist without allowing the roots to remain soggy or waterlogged.
- •Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity, ideally around 50–70%, with good airflow.
- •Growth/Soil: Thrives in a light, airy, well-draining houseplant mix that retains some moisture. As a cane Begonia, Flamingo Queen develops taller, upright stems as it matures and may benefit from staking once established.
- •Pet Safety: Not pet safe. Begonias are toxic if ingested by cats, dogs, and other pets.
- •A gorgeous Angel Wing Begonia that combines beautifully patterned foliage, graceful upright growth, and the potential for stunning blooms as it matures. 🩷🌿✨
