The Beautiful Wax Plant is an elegant trailing Hoya admired for its delicate, narrow green foliage and gorgeous clusters of star-shaped flowers. When mature and happy, it produces charming blooms featuring crisp white petals surrounding rosy pink to purple centers, creating the classic waxy flowers Hoyas are loved for. Its naturally cascading growth makes a 6-inch plant especially beautiful displayed in a hanging planter or elevated on a shelf.
✦Why You’ll Love It
- •Hoya Bella combines graceful trailing foliage with spectacular clusters of fragrant, star-shaped blooms. Compared with many thicker-leaved Hoyas, its smaller, softer foliage creates a delicate cascading appearance, while its willingness to bloom under favorable conditions makes it an especially rewarding plant to grow.
- •Collector Rarity: Uncommon Collector
Please Note: This listing is for a 6-inch Hoya Bella (Beautiful Wax Plant). Each plant is naturally unique and may vary in vine length, leaf size, branching, fullness, and overall appearance. Flowering depends on maturity and growing conditions and blooms cannot be guaranteed at the time of purchase or after arrival. Existing buds or flowers are especially delicate and may naturally drop during shipping or while acclimating to a new environment. While we carefully package every order to ensure safe arrival, The Luxe Leaf Co. is not responsible for cosmetic damage, minor imperfections, damaged or broken leaves/vines, flower or bud loss, or environmental stress that may occur during shipping or after delivery. Please review our shipping policies before placing your order.
✦Care Summary
- •Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal, with gentle morning sun beneficial for encouraging healthy growth and blooming. Avoid prolonged harsh afternoon sunlight.
- •Water: Water when the top 1–2 inches of the growing medium have dried. Hoya Bella appreciates slightly more consistent moisture than some thicker-leaved Hoyas but should never remain waterlogged.
- •Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity, ideally around 50–70%, with good airflow.
- •Growth/Soil: Thrives in a chunky, airy, fast-draining mix with excellent root aeration. Its naturally trailing growth is perfect for hanging baskets. Avoid removing old flower spurs (peduncles), as Hoya Bella can rebloom from them.
- •Pet Safety: Pet friendly! Hoyas are generally considered non-toxic to cats and dogs.
- •A graceful trailing Hoya with delicate foliage and breathtaking star-shaped blooms that make it just as beautiful in flower as it is between blooms. 🤍🌸🌿✨
