A timeless favorite among houseplant lovers, the Hoya Carnosa is loved for its thick, glossy green leaves and easygoing nature. This beautiful trailing vine is both elegant and resilient, making it a perfect choice for beginners and seasoned collectors alike. Given the right conditions, mature plants can reward you with clusters of fragrant, star-shaped blooms that add even more charm to this classic houseplant.
✦Why You'll Love It
- •The Hoya Carnosa is prized for its lush, waxy foliage, graceful trailing growth, and impressive longevity. Its thick leaves help it tolerate occasional missed waterings, making it one of the easiest Hoyas to care for. Whether displayed in a hanging planter or allowed to climb a trellis, it brings a clean, tropical look to any indoor space and only becomes more beautiful as it matures.
Please Note
Each plant is unique, and fullness, vine length, and overall shape will vary naturally. Minor cosmetic imperfections, blemishes, or small scars are normal and part of growing live plants. These natural characteristics do not affect the overall health of the plant and are not eligible for refunds or exchanges.
✦Care Summary
- •Light: Bright, indirect light. A few hours of gentle morning sun can encourage faster growth and flowering.
- •Water: Allow the soil to dry out between waterings. Hoyas prefer to stay slightly on the drier side.
- •Humidity: Average household humidity is suitable, though higher humidity encourages more vigorous growth.
- •Temperature: Prefers temperatures between 65–85°F and should be protected from cold drafts.
- •Growth Habit: Trailing or climbing vine with thick, waxy foliage that becomes fuller over time.
- •Pet Safety: Considered non-toxic to cats and dogs.
- •A beautiful staple that never goes out of style, the Hoya Carnosa is an easy-care classic you'll enjoy for years to come. 🌿
