The Philodendron Gloriosum is a stunning collector favorite known for its velvety, heart-shaped foliage and striking pale veining. Unlike climbing Philodendrons, Gloriosum grows horizontally along the soil, with each new leaf unfurling larger and more dramatic as the plant matures.
Rarity: Rare / Collector
✦Why You’ll Love It
- •Velvety, heart-shaped foliage
- •Beautiful contrasting veining
- •Leaves can become impressively large with maturity
- •Unique crawling growth habit
- •Highly sought-after collector Philodendron
Please Note: Each Philodendron Gloriosum is unique and may vary naturally in size, leaf count, coloration, veining, and maturity. This is a crawling Philodendron and its rhizome should remain along the surface of the soil rather than being buried deeply. New leaves are especially delicate while unfurling and minor cosmetic imperfections may occur. The Luxe Leaf Co. is not liable for carrier delays, mishandling, lost packages, temperature-related damage, or shipping damage once the plant is in the carrier’s possession.
✦Care Summary
- •Light: Bright, indirect light; avoid harsh direct sun
- •Water: Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil begin to dry; avoid consistently soggy soil
- •Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity with good airflow
- •Temperature: Prefers 65–85°F; protect from cold drafts and sudden temperature changes
- •Growth & Soil: Crawling growth habit; prefers a wide pot with a chunky, airy, well-draining aroid mix and its rhizome positioned along the soil surface
- •Pet Safety: Toxic if ingested
- •Velvety, dramatic, and absolutely gorgeous as it matures. 🌿🤍
