The Golden Pothos is a classic trailing houseplant loved for its lush, heart-shaped green leaves splashed and marbled with golden-yellow variegation. In a 6-inch hanging basket, its cascading vines create a full, beautiful display that looks great hanging from a ceiling, trailing from a shelf, or displayed high enough to let its vines grow freely.
✦Why You’ll Love It
- •Golden Pothos is a reliable favorite for a reason. It’s fast-growing, adaptable, and easy to care for while producing beautiful trailing vines that can become impressively long over time. Brighter indirect light can encourage stronger golden variegation, while its forgiving nature makes it a great choice for both newer plant parents and experienced collectors.
Please Note
Each plant is unique, and size, shape, fullness, vine length, leaf count, coloration, and variegation may naturally vary. Minor cosmetic imperfections are normal with live plants and do not affect the overall health of the plant. Plants may experience minor stress during shipping and may require a short acclimation period after arrival.
✦Care Summary
- •Light: Bright, indirect light is best for maintaining strong variegation, but Golden Pothos can tolerate lower-light conditions.
- •Water: Allow the top 1–2 inches of soil to dry before watering thoroughly. Avoid keeping the soil consistently soggy.
- •Humidity: Average household humidity is suitable, although it appreciates moderate humidity.
- •Temperature: Prefers temperatures around 65–85°F and should be protected from cold drafts.
- •Soil: Prefers a light, chunky, well-draining houseplant mix.
- •Growth Habit: Fast-growing and trailing with long cascading vines. Can also be trained to climb for larger, more mature foliage.
- •Pet Safety: Toxic if ingested. Keep away from pets and children.
- •A lush, easy-care classic that brings beautiful golden variegation and cascading greenery to any space. 🌿
