Collector Rarity: Common Houseplant
✦Why You'll Love It
- •The ZZ Plant is celebrated for its incredible tolerance of a wide range of indoor conditions and its low-maintenance care requirements. Its thick underground rhizomes store water, allowing it to withstand occasional neglect while continuing to produce lush, polished foliage. Whether you're adding greenery to a bright living room or a lower-light office, this versatile plant brings lasting beauty with very little effort.
Please Note
Unless otherwise stated, each ZZ Plant is unique, and natural variations in fullness, stem count, height, and leaf size should be expected. New growth often emerges a lighter green before gradually maturing to its signature deep emerald color. Minor cosmetic imperfections are a normal part of growing live plants and do not affect the overall health of the plant. If shipping is selected, plants are purchased at the buyer's discretion. While we package every order with exceptional care to help ensure a safe arrival, once your order leaves The Luxe Leaf Co. and is in the hands of the shipping carrier, we are not responsible for delays, damage, loss, or carrier-related issues during transit.
✦Care Summary
- •Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light but is exceptionally tolerant of medium and low-light environments. Avoid prolonged direct afternoon sun.
- •Water: Allow the soil to dry completely between waterings. The ZZ Plant stores water in its rhizomes and prefers to stay on the drier side.
- •Humidity: Adapts well to average household humidity and does not require additional humidity to thrive.
- •Temperature: Prefers temperatures between 65–85°F and should be protected from temperatures below 55°F.
- •Soil: A well-draining potting mix with excellent drainage to prevent excess moisture around the roots.
- •Growth Habit: Slow to moderate-growing upright plant with thick stems emerging from underground rhizomes, becoming fuller with age.
- •Pet Safety: Toxic to cats and dogs if ingested.
- •Elegant, nearly effortless, and built to thrive, the ZZ Plant is the perfect blend of beauty and simplicity for any indoor space. 🌿✨🪴💚
