The Black Raven ZZ Plant is a striking, low-maintenance beauty known for its dramatic near-black foliage. New growth emerges a vibrant lime green before gradually deepening to rich purple-black as it matures, creating a gorgeous contrast of light and dark foliage on the same plant.
Rarity: Uncommon
✦Why You’ll Love It
- •Dramatic glossy, near-black foliage
- •New growth emerges bright lime green
- •Extremely low-maintenance & drought tolerant
- •Tolerates a wide range of indoor light conditions
- •Slow-growing with a clean, architectural appearance
Please Note: Each Black Raven ZZ Plant is unique and may vary naturally in size, fullness, leaf color, and maturity. New growth will emerge green and naturally darken as it hardens off—this is a normal characteristic of the Raven variety. Minor cosmetic imperfections are normal and do not affect overall plant health. The Luxe Leaf Co. is not liable for carrier delays, mishandling, lost packages, temperature-related damage, or shipping damage once the plant is in the carrier’s possession.
✦Care Summary
- •Light: Low to bright, indirect light; brighter indirect light generally encourages stronger growth
- •Water: Allow soil to dry thoroughly between waterings; highly susceptible to overwatering
- •Humidity: Average household humidity is suitable
- •Temperature: Prefers 65–85°F; protect from cold temperatures and drafts
- •Growth & Soil: Slow-growing, upright growth habit; prefers a chunky, well-draining soil mix and does not like staying wet
- •Pet Safety: Toxic if ingested
- •Dark, glossy, and effortlessly dramatic—the perfect statement plant for almost any space. 🖤🌿
