The Alocasia Scalprum is a distinctive collector Alocasia admired for its long, narrow leaves, deeply textured surface, and rich green coloration. Its unique blade-like foliage develops an almost sculpted appearance as it matures, giving this uncommon variety a bold and sophisticated look that stands apart from more traditional Alocasias.
Collector Rarity: Uncommon Collector
✦Why You'll Love It
- •The Alocasia Scalprum is loved for its unusual leaf shape and beautifully textured foliage. Its slender, elongated leaves and compact upright growth make it a striking addition to any Alocasia collection, especially for collectors drawn to unique and harder-to-find varieties.
Please Note: This listing is for a 4-inch Alocasia Scalprum. Each plant will naturally vary in leaf size, shape, color, and fullness. Alocasias may experience minor leaf damage, yellowing, or stress during shipping and acclimation. By purchasing, you acknowledge these natural variations and shipping limitations and agree to The Luxe Leaf Co.’s shipping and Live Arrival Guarantee policies.
✦Care Summary
- •Light: Bright, indirect light. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, which may scorch the foliage.
- •Water: Allow the top 1–2 inches of soil to dry slightly between waterings. Avoid keeping the soil consistently soggy.
- •Humidity: Thrives in moderate to high humidity (60%+) and appreciates consistent humidity for healthy growth.
- •Soil: Prefers a chunky, well-draining aroid mix that provides plenty of airflow around the roots while retaining some moisture.
- •Pet Safety: Toxic if ingested. Keep away from pets and children.
- •A unique collector Alocasia that brings dramatic texture, sculpted foliage, and a distinctive tropical look to any indoor plant collection. 🌿✨
